HT Solar Energy J.S.C. was founded in the Istanbul Tuzla Free Zone in 2016 as a subsidiary of HT-SAAE, a 100% Chinese state-owned firm that manufactures solar cells and modules. The yearly solar module production capacity of HT Solar Energy is 1,2 GW. HT Solar Energy sells solar modules in Turkey, the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. HT Solar is a member of the PV Cycle and is on the ISO 500 list for 2018 & 2019, as well as 2020.HT-SAAE, the subsidiary of CASC was founded on May 28th, 1998, and went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in June (stock code 600151).
HT-SAAE was ranked among the Top 10 Chinese PV Module Suppliers by an internationally recognized third-party organisation, and Bloomberg New Energy Finance has acknowledged the firm as a “Tier 1” Module Manufacturer for several years (BNEF). In PVEL’s 2020&2021 PV Module Reliability Scorecard, HT-SAAE was named a “Top Performer Manufacturer.” With solar panels manufactured in Istanbul, Turkey, HT-SAAE is the only Turkish solar module producer to have joined the PV Module Reliability Scorecard for 2020 and 2021.
